Oracle bonds are trading like junk bonds, with spreads between their bonds and CDSs surging and losses widening further after the company released its quarterly earnings report earlier this week. Analysis shows that investors who bought $18 billion in high-grade bonds issued by Oracle last September, bonds issued as the company ramped up spending on artificial intelligence (AI) projects, are now facing paper losses totaling approximately $1.35 billion.
