The report shows that at 20:01 on August 21, 2025, a major gas explosion accident occurred at the Shuijingkeng Coal Mine of Fujian Sanming Guangfeng Mining Co., Ltd., resulting in 7 deaths, 1 minor injury, and direct economic losses of approximately 9.26 million yuan. The investigation determined that the accident was a production safety liability accident caused by inadequate ventilation and gas management, encountering geological structures at the tunneling face, a large amount of roof coal collapsing, a large amount of gas surging out and accumulating, and workers violating regulations by lighting fires and smoking. The accident investigation team put forward disciplinary opinions and recommendations for 31 responsible persons and relevant responsible units.
