On December 14th, Dai Zhifeng of Zhongtai Securities stated that this year's Central Economic Work Conference, in its section on "adhering to reform and tackling key challenges," proposed "continuously deepening the comprehensive reform of capital market investment and financing," continuing the reform requirements of last year's conference and reflecting the continuity and systematic nature of capital market reform. It is worth noting that this year's conference's description of the capital market was relatively concise, unlike last year's separate emphasis on "stabilizing the stock market." This indicates, on the one hand, that this year's capital market reform measures have achieved positive results and the market is operating smoothly overall; on the other hand, it shows that the stable development of the capital market needs to be integrated into the overall economic work, achieving endogenous stability through enhancing its ability to serve the real economy and optimizing its investment and financing functions.
