[my country's Machinery Industry Has 137,000 Enterprises Above Designated Size] According to the China Machinery Industry Federation, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, my country's machinery industry achieved remarkable results in terms of industrial scale, foreign trade, and innovation capabilities. Specifically, the number of machinery enterprises above designated size increased from 92,000 at the end of 2020 to 137,000 by the end of October 2025. Data shows that in terms of industrial scale, since the 14th Five-Year Plan, the added value of my country's machinery industry has grown at an average annual rate of 7.1%, and in the first three quarters of this year, the growth rate was 8.7%, both higher than the national average for industry and manufacturing during the same period. Regarding foreign trade, from January to October this year, the total import and export volume of goods reached US$1.03 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 7.6%.
