[Hubei Sells 324 Million kWh of Green Electricity in a Year and a Half] Buying green electricity directly might be expensive, but Hubei enterprises have a clever solution: using carbon quotas as "hard currency." These quotas can be used for loans, electricity purchases, and carbon reduction, allowing enterprises to earn money while using electricity, making green electricity easier to sell. This cyclical "magic" is called the "electricity-carbon-finance" three-market synergy mechanism. According to State Grid Hubei Electric Power, after a year and a half of operation, more than 40 enterprises have participated in this mechanism, accumulating 324 million kWh of green electricity transactions.
