[Indonesia's Tin Exports Rebound Significantly in November] 1. As the world's second-largest tin producer, Indonesia saw a significant rebound in tin exports in November, reaching 7,459 tons, nearly double the figure in October. This indicates that short-term supply concerns stemming from the country's crackdown on illegal mining are gradually easing. In October, exports plummeted to 2,643 tons, the lowest level since January, due to President Prabowo Subianto's directive to crack down on illegal mining in major tin-producing areas such as Bangka Belitung. 2. Tightening supply expectations have continued to support tin prices this year, with London Metal Exchange (LME) tin contracts rising by 41% year-to-date, making them one of the best-performing metals on the exchange. With the recovery in exports, market concerns about the stability of Indonesian supply have subsided.
