[Saudi Arabia's November Inflation Rate Falls to 11-Month Low] ⑴ Saudi Arabia's annual inflation rate fell to 1.9% in November, lower than the expected 2.0% and the previous month's 2.1%, marking the lowest level since December 2024. ⑵ Food and beverage price growth slowed to 1.3% (1.5% in October), housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuel inflation slowed to 4.3% (4.5% previously), and transportation inflation slowed to 1.5% (1.6% previously). ⑶ Entertainment and cultural inflation slowed significantly to 1.3% (2.4% previously), and insurance and financial services inflation slowed sharply to 5.1% (8.2% previously). ⑷ The decline in furniture, household equipment, and routine household maintenance prices narrowed to 0.3% (down 0.5% previously), while restaurant and accommodation service prices turned to a 0.5% decline (up 1.1% previously). (5) On the other hand, tobacco inflation rose slightly to 1.0% (previous value 0.9%), education services inflation rose slightly to 1.5% (previous value 1.4%), and personal care, social protection, and miscellaneous goods inflation rose to 6.6% (previous value 5.9%). (6) On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.1% month-on-month in November, compared to 0.3% in the previous month.
