[Croatia's November Inflation Rate Confirmed at 3.8%] ⑴ Croatia's annual inflation rate rose to 3.8% in November 2025, up from 3.6% in the previous month, in line with preliminary estimates. ⑵ The upward pressure mainly came from rising housing and utility prices, with their inflation rate rising to 8.8% from 8.4% in October. ⑶ Categories with rising inflation rates also included: alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices rose 5% year-on-year, up from 4.5% in October; furniture, home furnishings and routine household maintenance prices rose 0.4% year-on-year, up from 0.1% in October; entertainment and cultural prices rose 3.7% year-on-year, up from 3.0% in October; restaurant and hotel prices rose 7.3% year-on-year, up from 6.9% in October; and communication prices rose 5.1% year-on-year, up from 4.1% in October. (4) On the other hand, clothing and footwear prices fell 2.5% year-on-year, a larger drop than the 2.2% decline in October; transportation prices fell 0.1% year-on-year, a smaller drop than the 1.1% decline in October; and food and non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 4.0% year-on-year, a lower increase than the 4.4% in October. (5) On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices rose 0.6% in November, the same as in October, in line with preliminary estimates. (6) Meanwhile, the harmonized annual consumer inflation rate accelerated from 4.0% to 4.3%.
