[Latvia's Current Account Deficit Narrows to Nearly Two-Year Low in October] ⑴ Latvia recorded a current account deficit of €23 million in October 2025, narrowing from €77 million in the same period last year. ⑵ This is the smallest deficit since February last year, mainly driven by a shift to a surplus in the primary income account. ⑶ The primary income account recorded a surplus of €97 million, compared to a deficit of €49 million in the same period last year. ⑷ In addition, the secondary income account surplus widened to €55 million from €27 million. ⑸ On the other hand, the goods account deficit widened to €326 million from €253 million. ⑹ The services account surplus narrowed to €152 million from €198 million.
