[Bulgaria's November Inflation Rate Slows to Five-Month Low] ⑴ Bulgaria's annual inflation rate slowed to 5.2% in November 2025, down from 5.3% in the previous month. ⑵ This is the lowest reading since June, mainly driven by a slowdown in food and non-alcoholic beverage price increases to 5%, down from 6.4% in the previous month; alcoholic beverage and tobacco price increases slowed to 7.2%, down from 7.8% in the previous month; communication price increases slowed to 3.9%, down from 5.4% in the previous month; and education price increases slowed to 8.4%, down from 8.7% in the previous month. ⑶ In addition, healthcare prices fell steadily by 4.5% year-on-year. ⑷ On the other hand, inflation in furniture, home equipment and maintenance prices accelerated to 1%, down from 0.6% in the previous month; transportation price inflation accelerated to 1.1%, down from 0.5% in the previous month; entertainment and cultural price inflation accelerated to 18.4%, down from 15.7% in the previous month; miscellaneous goods and services price inflation accelerated to 5.6%, down from 5% in the previous month; while restaurant and hotel price inflation remained stable at 10.2%. (5) Clothing and footwear prices rose 1% year-on-year, compared to a 0.3% decrease in the previous month. (6) On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices rose 0.5% in November, marking the second consecutive month of increase, compared to a 0.9% increase in the previous month.
