[Poland's November Inflation Rate Falls to Lowest Level Since May 2024] ⑴ Poland's annual inflation rate slowed to 2.5% in November 2025, the lowest level since May 2024, lower than the previous month's 2.8% and also lower than preliminary estimates. ⑵ The slowdown in inflation was mainly driven by slower price growth in the following categories: food and non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 2.7% year-on-year, compared to 3.4% in the previous month; housing and utilities prices rose 4.1% year-on-year, compared to 4.2% in the previous month; entertainment and cultural prices rose 1.7% year-on-year, compared to 2.0% in the previous month; and education prices rose 6.1% year-on-year, compared to 6.2% in the previous month. ⑶ Meanwhile, furniture, home furnishings, and routine household maintenance prices fell 1.8% year-on-year, a larger decline than the 1.1% decline in the previous month; clothing and footwear prices fell 2.1% year-on-year, a larger decline than the 1.1% decline in the previous month. ⑷ Transportation prices fell 2.3% year-on-year, unchanged from the previous month. (5) Conversely, prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose 7.1% year-on-year, slightly higher than the 7.0% increase in the previous month; prices for other goods and services rose 1.0% year-on-year, higher than the 0.8% increase in the previous month. (6) On a month-on-month basis, consumer prices rose 0.1% in November, the same as in October.
