[World's Largest Diameter High-Speed Railway Tunnel Boring Machine "Navigator" Breaks 10,000-Meter Mark] On December 16, the "Navigator," the world's largest diameter high-speed railway tunnel boring machine independently developed by my country, broke through the 10,000-meter mark in the Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel project, remaining only 1,000 meters from the south bank of the Yangtze River. This marks a crucial step towards the goal of completing the "last kilometer" and enabling a 350 km/h high-speed railway to cross the river. This is also the first time in the world that a 15-meter diameter tunnel boring machine has achieved a continuous excavation of 10,000 meters. (CCTV)
