[Markets Focus on US Non-Farm Payrolls Report, Watch for Changes in Fed Policy Expectations] 1. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the highly anticipated combined October and November employment report later today, along with several preliminary manufacturing data points. 2. According to the CME Group's FedWatch tool, federal funds rate futures indicate a 75.6% probability that the Fed will maintain interest rates at its next meeting on January 28, unchanged from the previous day. 3. However, some analysts doubt whether this data release will completely eliminate market uncertainty. 4. Rodrigo Catril, a currency strategist at National Australia Bank in Sydney, said, "The October data likely includes all previously delayed and unaccounted-for layoffs in the DOGE division." He was referring to the large-scale layoffs conducted by the DOGE division established by Musk earlier this year. 5. He further pointed out, "I'm not sure we can really figure out what happened in October, but we should and need to understand the situation at that time in order to accurately grasp the trend of US job growth."
