[Xi Jinping Listens to Chief Executive John Lee's Report] On the afternoon of the 16th, President Xi Jinping met with John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, at Yingtai in Zhongnanhai. Lee was in Beijing to report on the current situation in Hong Kong and the work of the SAR government. Xi Jinping pointed out that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee made a strategic plan for the country's economic and social development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, emphasizing the need to unswervingly implement the principles of "one country, two systems," "Hong Kong people governing Hong Kong," and a high degree of autonomy to promote Hong Kong's long-term prosperity and stability.
