At the close of New York trading, the euro rose to $1.1758 against the dollar from $1.1749; the pound rose to $1.3426 from $1.3373; the dollar fell to 154.68 yen from 155.24 yen; the dollar fell to 0.7946 Swiss francs from 0.7966; the dollar fell to 1.3746 Canadian dollars from 1.3773; and the dollar fell to 9.2890 Swedish krona from 9.2895.
