U.S. API crude oil inventories fell by 9.322 million barrels in the week ending December 12, compared with an expected decrease of 2.197 million barrels and a previous decrease of 4.779 million barrels. Meanwhile, API gasoline inventories rose by 4.835 million barrels, compared with an expected increase of 2.1 million barrels and a previous increase of 6.955 million barrels. API distillate fuel inventories rose by 2.511 million barrels, compared with an expected increase of 2.066 million barrels and a previous increase of 1.027 million barrels. API Cushing crude oil inventories fell by 510,000 barrels, compared with a previous increase of 47,000 barrels. API heating oil inventories fell by 435,000 barrels, compared with a previous increase of 296,000 barrels. API crude oil imports fell by 225,000 barrels, compared with a previous increase of 175,000 barrels.
