On December 17th, Xiaomi open-sourced MiMo-V2-Flash. According to reports, Xiaomi MiMo-V2-Flash is a self-developed MoE model with a total of 309 bytes (15 bytes activated). Its code capabilities rival those of the benchmark closed-source model Claude Sonnet 4.5, but its inference cost is only 2.5% of Sonnet's. The API pricing for MiMo-V2-Flash is: 0.7 yuan per million tokens for input and 2.1 yuan per million tokens for output. Xiaomi stated that the model weights and inference code are fully open-sourced, the API is free for a limited time, and a web demo is now available.
