The Japan Tourism Agency reported a 10.4% year-on-year increase in the number of tourists visiting Japan in November. The number of overseas business and leisure travelers entering Japan that month reached 3.52 million. The agency projects that the total number of inbound tourists will exceed 39 million by 2025. As of the end of November, the number of registered visitors had already surpassed the record 36.87 million set in 2024.
