[Poland's Consumer Confidence Index Remains Stable in December] ⑴ Poland's consumer confidence index remained stable at -9.9 in December 2025, unchanged from the previous month, as households' assessment of the economic outlook was mixed. ⑵ Views on the economic situation over the past year improved, rising from -22.8 to -20.6, while expectations for the next year declined from -15.2 to -16.9. ⑶ Household financial conditions improved, with the financial condition index rising from -7.5 to -7.0 over the past year and from -7.3 to -5.2 for the next year. ⑷ Current savings capacity jumped significantly from -4.1 to -0.1, while expected financial conditions rose from 11.8 to 15.1, and future savings expectations rose from 11.5 to 14.3, reflecting increased confidence in personal liquidity. ⑸ However, some indicators still show that consumers remain cautious, with household financial expectations for the next year declining from -1.9 to -4.0. (6) Price trend perception slowed from 57.9 to 52.0 over the past 12 months; the propensity to make large purchases slightly decreased from -2.6 to -2.9.
