[Malta's Inflation Rate Remains Stable in November 2025] ⑴ Malta's annual inflation rate in November 2025 was 2.5%, unchanged from the previous period. Food and non-alcoholic beverage prices rose 3.4% year-on-year, slightly higher than October's 3.3%; housing and utilities prices rose 1.7%, compared to 1.6% previously; alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices rose 1.8%, compared to 1.7% previously. ⑵ Medical prices rose 2.9% year-on-year, compared to 2.8% previously; restaurant and hotel prices rose 4%, compared to 3.7% previously; entertainment and cultural prices rose 3.6%, compared to 3.3% previously. Meanwhile, deflation in clothing and footwear eased, falling 1.7% year-on-year, a smaller decline than October's 2.9%. ⑶ On the other hand, transportation costs rose 2.2% year-on-year, a slower increase than October's 3.2%; furniture, home furnishings, and routine household maintenance costs rose 1.2%, compared to 1.3% previously; miscellaneous goods and services prices rose 3.5%, compared to 3.8% previously. Furthermore, deflation in communication prices intensified, falling 5% year-on-year, a larger drop than the 4% decline in October. (4) On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.7% in November, rebounding from a 0.9% monthly decline in the previous month.
