[Analyst: Economic Data Insufficient to Support Any Change in ECB Policy Stance] James Marsht of SEI noted in a report that economic data is insufficient to support any change in the European Central Bank's (ECB) policy stance. "While inflation is near but slightly above target, and economic growth remains stable (though not particularly strong), we see no reason for the ECB to adjust its policy stance in the near term," the portfolio manager stated. He pointed out that after eight rate cuts between June 2024 and June 2025, the ECB is likely to keep rates unchanged this week, awaiting further data. The ECB will announce its decision on Thursday.
