[PBOC: Issuance of Tenth Tranche of Central Bank Bills with a 6-Month (182-Day) Maturity and a Issuance Amount of RMB 40 Billion] The People's Bank of China (PBOC) announced that, to enrich high-credit-rating RMB financial products in Hong Kong and improve the RMB yield curve in Hong Kong, it will issue the tenth tranche of central bank bills for 2025 on Monday, December 22, 2025, through the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) bond bidding platform. The tenth tranche of central bank bills has a maturity of 6 months (182 days), is a fixed-rate interest-bearing bond, and will be repaid with principal and interest at maturity. The issuance amount is RMB 40 billion, the interest accrual date is December 24, 2025, and the maturity date is June 24, 2026, with the maturity date postponed if it falls on a holiday. The face value of the tenth tranche of central bank bills is RMB 100, and it will be issued using a Dutch auction method, with the interest rate as the bidding target. (People's Bank of China)
