[National Energy Administration: my country's Wind and Solar Power Installations Will Continue to Maintain High Growth Rate on a High Base] Gui Xiaoyang, Deputy Director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, stated at the 2025 Photovoltaic Industry Annual Conference on December 18th that my country's wind and solar power installations will need to increase by approximately 200 million kilowatts annually over the next ten years, maintaining a high growth rate on the existing high base. The future of photovoltaics will not only focus on the amount of electricity generated, but also on when, where, and at what value it generates electricity. It will need to improve its own regulation capabilities, optimize its output curve through multi-energy complementarity, photovoltaic-storage-photothermal integration, and intelligent control, better match market time-of-use price signals, and strive to expand the proportion of photovoltaic power generation during high-price periods.
