The Hainan Free Trade Port has officially launched its island-wide customs clearance operation. According to data from Qunar, international airfares to Haikou during the 2026 Spring Festival period increased by more than 100% year-on-year, with major source countries including Russia, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, and Thailand. During the 2026 New Year's Day period (January 1-3), flight bookings to Haikou and Sanya increased by 19% and 51% year-on-year, respectively.
