According to the latest survey by TrendForce, the recent supply shortage in the memory market has driven a rapid increase in the price of conventional DRAM. Although HBM3e has benefited from the simultaneous upward revision of GPU and ASIC orders, resulting in a price increase as well, the average selling price (ASP) gap between HBM3e and DDR5 is expected to narrow significantly over the next year.
