[Middle East Oil Prices Remain Stable with Slight Declines; Qatar Lowers Official Price; Spot Trading Undercurrents] ⑴ On Thursday, the benchmark spot premium for Middle Eastern crude oil stabilized after rising in the previous trading day, as traders assessed the impact of potential further US sanctions against Russia and the blockade of Venezuelan oil tankers on the supply outlook. ⑵ Trade sources said that Qatar Energy has set its official selling price for February crude oil at a premium of 53 cents per barrel over Dubai quotes, down from the 84 cents premium for January shipments. ⑶ Sources indicated that Qatar Energy sold five shipments of crude oil to refiners such as Glencore and Reliance Industries at an average premium of approximately 42 cents per barrel.
