[Strong Corn Export Sales in November] The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) continued to accelerate the release of previously missed export sales reports, releasing its weekly report today for the period ending November 27. These backlogged reports show continued strong U.S. corn export sales, providing support for futures prices. Today's data shows corn sales of 1.8 million tons for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 marketing years. Strong export sales, coupled with record ethanol production figures reported yesterday by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), have fueled market hopes that this year's record-breaking harvest will be absorbed by increased consumption.
