[Russian Wheat Production Forecast Slightly Upward] Black Sea agricultural consultancy SovEcon has raised its forecast for Russian wheat production due to better-than-expected yields in Siberia. The company now predicts Russian wheat production of 88.8 million tons in 2025, an increase of 200,000 tons from its previous forecast. The company also expects Russian wheat production to decrease to 83.8 million tons in 2026. However, SovEcon also noted that the 2026 crop is not expected to face many adverse factors. "So far, there have been no significant weather risks, and the winter wheat planting area is in line with our expectations."
