International oil prices rose slightly on the 18th. By the close of trading that day, the price of light sweet crude oil futures for January 2026 delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 21 cents to settle at $56.15 per barrel, an increase of 0.38%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for February delivery on the London ICE Futures Exchange rose 14 cents to settle at $59.82 per barrel, an increase of 0.23%.
