A week after the release of a study, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) launched an investigation into the AI-based pricing tools of fresh food delivery company Instacart (CART). The study found that Instacart showed different prices to different users for the same list of the exact same items purchased from the same store, with some items having prices that differed by as much as 23% between different users.
