US President Trump signed an executive order announcing the shutdown of the federal government on December 24 and 26. However, the New York Stock Exchange stated that the trading hours for these two days around Christmas will not change. The exchange had previously moved the closing time of the stock market on December 24 to 1 p.m. and also posted a notice on its website stating that December 26 will be a normal full trading day.
