[High Temperatures and Little Rainfall in the Southeastern United States; Intermittent Showers in Argentina Stabilize Soybean Grain Filling; Drought in the Delta Region Poses a Risk] ⑴ Temperatures in the southeastern United States (Alabama and Georgia) were above to well above normal from Sunday to Saturday, and near to below normal on Monday, with isolated showers. Rain fell on Sunday, and the region was largely dry on Monday. ⑵ The 6-10 day outlook shows largely dry conditions from Tuesday to Saturday, near to below normal temperatures from Tuesday to Wednesday, near to above normal temperatures from Thursday to Friday, and above normal temperatures on Saturday. ⑶ Regarding the global soybean outlook, intermittent showers and thunderstorms in Argentina helped stabilize the growth of late-season soybeans that are currently filling. ⑷ Scattered showers in the US Corn Belt are beneficial for early soybean planting, but current temperature conditions are unfavorable, and dryness and drought in the Delta region have become a major problem.
