[Soybean Planting May Accelerate This Week] Cory Bratland of AgMarket.Net stated in a report that the USDA's crop progress report, due later today, may show a slow start to soybean planting, with all planting currently taking place in the Mississippi Delta region. Bratland said, "Drought monitoring indices show improved conditions across much of the U.S., so planting should accelerate starting this week." Meanwhile, the market is focused on developments in the Middle East, where "the conflict with Iran appears to have reached a critical juncture early this week." Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures rose 0.4%.
