Ahead of Tesla's first-quarter earnings release, JPMorgan Chase maintained its "underweight" rating and lowered its forecasts. The bank now estimates Tesla's first-quarter earnings per share at approximately $0.30, lower than its previous estimate of $0.43 and also below the market consensus of $0.38. This adjustment follows Tesla's weaker-than-expected delivery report and a decline in energy storage installations. JPMorgan Chase stated that both factors indicate a cooling of Tesla's core business momentum.
