In the proposed acquisition of Soleno by Neurocrine Biosciences (NBIX) for $53 per share in cash and debt, Stifel analyst Paul Mattis said that Soleno's agreement to sell at that price was "somewhat unexpected." He added that the trajectory of Vykat suggests Neurocrine Biosciences may have secured a very good deal, but short-term market reactions will likely remain dependent on the execution of the transaction and the progress of business integration.
