International oil prices rose slightly on June 6. At the close, the price of light sweet crude oil futures for May delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 87 cents to settle at $112.41 per barrel, a gain of 0.78%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for June delivery on the London ICE Futures Exchange rose 74 cents to settle at $109.77 per barrel, a gain of 0.68%.
