Broadcom and Google have entered into a long-term collaboration agreement to jointly develop and supply Tensor Processing Units (TPUs). Under the agreement, Broadcom will conduct research and development for Google's next-generation TPUs, providing customized TPU products, as well as network and other related components for Google's next-generation AI server racks. The agreement will remain in effect until 2031. Furthermore, Broadcom, Google, and AI company Anthropic have decided to expand their existing strategic partnership. Starting in 2027, Anthropic will receive approximately 3.5 gigawatts of computing power from Broadcom. However, the actual scale of Anthropic's use of the additional AI computing power will depend on its subsequent commercial performance.
