OpenAI is urging the attorneys general of California and Delaware to consider investigating “anti-competitive actions” by Elon Musk and his associates. The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial this month. OpenAI states that the lawsuit, which seeks over $100 billion in damages from the company’s non-profit foundation, would severely weaken the foundation’s operational capabilities and could even undermine the company’s efforts to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity.
