[Floods in Dagestan, Russia, Leave 3 Dead] On April 5th, local time, floods continued to ravage the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, resulting in 3 deaths. The floods caused the Gzhukh Reservoir dam in the Derbent district to breach, forcing the evacuation of over 5,000 people, flooding 2,000 homes, and leaving more than 327,000 people without power. A residential building in the capital, Makhachkala, collapsed due to flooding. The Republic of Dagestan has declared a state of emergency. (CCTV News)
