All citizens aged 16 to 35 have received relevant emails. (2) Bakanov emphasized that future cosmonauts must possess curiosity and a desire to continuously learn new things, while also meeting health and education standards. (3) The fifth round of open recruitment for cosmonauts will begin in February 2026, and all interested parties are welcome to apply. Previously, President Putin issued a decree in December 2025 designating April 6-12 each year as "Space Week".
