[Russia Claims Attack on Black Sea Port Maritime Transshipment Facilities] The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on April 6 that from the night of April 5 to the early morning of April 6, Ukraine used fixed-wing attack drones to attack maritime transshipment facilities at the southern Black Sea port of Novorossiysk in an attempt to disrupt the global oil and gas market and cut off the supply of petroleum products to European consumers. The announcement stated that the attack was a deliberate attack on facilities belonging to the international oil transport company, the Caspian Pipeline Union, resulting in damage to the unloading terminal pipelines and loading/unloading terminals, and fires at four oil storage tanks.
