[South Korean oil prices continue to rise, with the average price of gasoline in Seoul exceeding 2,000 won per liter] (1) According to data from the Korea Petroleum Corporation's oil price information system "Opinet", as of 9:00 a.m. on the 7th, the average price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide was 1,964.7 won per liter, an increase of 6.4 won from the previous day; the price of diesel was 1,955.6 won per liter, an increase of 6.4 won. (2) Oil prices in Seoul continued to rise, with gasoline prices rising to 2,000.3 won per liter, an increase of 9.9 won from the previous day; the price of diesel was 1,979.6 won per liter, an increase of 11.6 won. (3) This is the first time that the average price of gasoline in Seoul has exceeded 2,000 won since July 25, 2022 (when it was 2,005 won).
