India's aviation fuel surcharge adjustment: In view of the sharp rise in global aviation fuel prices, India has announced an adjustment to its fuel surcharge. Starting from April 8, 2026, the fuel surcharge for domestic flights will change from a fixed rate to a rate based on flight distance.
