The People's Bank of China reported that China's gold reserves stood at 74.38 million ounces (approximately 2,313.48 tons) at the end of March, an increase of 160,000 ounces (approximately 4.98 tons) month-on-month. The reserves were 74.22 million ounces (approximately 2,308.5 tons) at the end of February, marking the 17th consecutive month of increases in gold holdings.
