[my country's Largest Single Photovoltaic Project in Southeast Asia Commences Operation] Today, the first phase of the 1,000 MW photovoltaic project at the CGN Northern Laos Interconnection Clean Energy Base, the largest single photovoltaic project in Southeast Asia developed and constructed by my country, was connected to the grid and put into operation. It is understood that this project is Laos' first large-scale mountain photovoltaic project. After the first phase is put into operation, it is expected to generate approximately 1.65 billion kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to saving approximately 500,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1.3 million tons.
