[Roscosmos: International Space Station Operation Period May Be Extended to 2030] (1) Dmitry Bakanov, Director General of Roscosmos, stated that Russia does not rule out extending the operation period of the International Space Station to 2030. (2) He said that a year ago, discussions were underway to end the space station's operation as soon as possible, but now discussions are being held with American counterparts that the space station should operate until at least 2028. (3) According to the discussions, the operation period may even be further extended to 2030.
