[Israel Resumes "Full Activity" Status Except for the Northern Border with Lebanon] The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement on the evening of March 8th, saying that in light of the current situation and the ongoing situation assessment by the Home Defense Command, the IDF has decided to update its national civil defense regulations, resuming a "full activity" status except for the northern border with Lebanon. The statement said that as of 6:00 AM on March 9th, the current defense guidelines remain unchanged; from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on March 9th, the defense guidelines will be adjusted according to the latest security assessment as follows: In the frontline areas in the north where there is a standoff with Hezbollah in Lebanon, a "limited activity" status will remain in effect. In the rest of the country, a "full activity" status will be restored, and general restrictions will no longer be implemented, but in some central areas, the size of gatherings will still be limited to a maximum of 1,000 people. The IDF stated that it will continue to closely monitor the situation and make further adjustments to relevant defense measures as needed. (CCTV)
