[Another Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation (ADNOC) LNG carrier departs the Strait of Hormuz, energy flow increases] (1) Another liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier from Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation (ADNOC) has reportedly departed the Strait of Hormuz, further increasing energy flow through the channel recently. (2) Ship tracking data shows that the Umm Ashtan, carrying cargo, appeared northwest of Muscat, Oman, after leaving the Strait of Hormuz. Its destination was India. (3) The ship stopped signaling on May 2 (when it was empty and moored near the eastern entrance of the Strait of Hormuz). Satellite images show that it appears to have loaded cargo at Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation's Das Island export plant behind the Gulf of Hormuz during the period when it was not signaling. (4) Images show that the LNG carrier has been moored at Das Island, although no other vessels have broadcast their positions near the plant.
