[Tencent's self-developed video codec chip "Canghai" V2 successfully lit up, with three major capabilities upgraded, to be launched in the second half of the year] (1) Tencent's self-developed video codec chip "Canghai" V2 has been successfully lit up, achieving a comprehensive upgrade in three major capabilities: codec, ultra-high-definition, and rendering. (2) The chip will begin providing full online services in the second half of 2026. (3) The Canghai chip has been under development since 2019, and mass production and large-scale application will begin in 2023. Currently, its predecessor, "Canghai" V1, has been deployed on a large scale in Tencent Cloud and Tencent's own scenarios, with more than 100,000 chips deployed.
