[Rabobank: European Gas Market Overly Complacent About Supply Risks, TTF Expected to Rise to €69 by Year-End] ⑴ Rabobank analysts say the European gas market remains overly complacent about the risks of tightening LNG supply and low winter inventories, warning that the full impact of supply disruptions has not yet been priced in. ⑵ The bank says reduced LNG inflows during the summer reserve injection season could lead to unusually low gas inventories in Europe as winter approaches, increasing the risk of shortages. ⑶ Rabobank expects the average TTF price to be around €60 per megawatt-hour in the third quarter, rising from the current €46 to €69 by the end of the year. ⑷ These analysts say prices are unlikely to return to normal before 2028, when new LNG supplies from the US and Qatar are expected to come online.
